How I Became A Consultant

I’m often asked, “How did you end up being a coach and consultant Meg?”

Well, I’ve always been a people person. It’s that simple. I’ve been told that I have a knack for making people feel at ease by creating a comfortable space for them to share their dreams, desires, troubles, challenges, and goals.

During my childhood, all my friends would come to me for advice. This ranged from situations about how to save a stranded baby animal, how to talk to boys, how to communicate more effectively within a group of friends, and even the classic parental conflict conversations.

Stepping into a leadership role has always felt natural for me. Over time, my love for guiding friends and family grew into the formation of my coaching/consulting business. I am honored to empower my clients as they navigate feelings of uncertainty and gain clarity through their unique zones of genius. These strategy sessions yield higher volumes of success and eliminate stress on massive levels.

I have held many social and professional roles that have given me the opportunity to learn a very important lesson; I cannot walk down the path of life or business alone. I will ALWAYS need help. The path of self-development led me to become the coach and consultant I always wished I had. I discovered that suffering is optional.

Looking back, I feel grateful for the investments I made in myself that fueled my curiosity for personal development. It’s no wonder I wake up every day with a smile on my face because I love what I do!

If you're not exactly sure about what a consultant or coach does, the rest of this article is for you.

As a consultant, I’m here to teach, give unbiased insights, and provide support wherever it’s needed. I work closely with income, revenue goals, and strategies for team development. This means that I break down the steps for success that will be required on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to achieve your unique desired outcome.

As a coach, I spend more of my time asking important questions that guide you to unlocking your own inner brilliance. I delight in helping my clients identify their limiting beliefs and discovering what created them. I help sort out what is true and what is false within the mind of my clients. I know exactly how to show you that all the answers reside within yourself. I find great joy in the thoughtful process of discovering that the molehill isn’t actually a mountain after all.

Why hire a consultant?

I know we can all recall times when we have needed a friend with an outside perspective to offer insight on something we may have missed in the big picture. I know for myself and my fellow entrepreneurs it can be lonely at the top. It’s important to have the support and motivation of other, like-minded, people in order to figure out otherwise undiscoverable answers. This type of support can also help with achieving more work-life balance infused with better communication.

Investing in the support of a coach and consultant not only provides more tools in your toolbox, it allows you to dream bigger and hit the goals you’ve always wanted. This could include more time with family, increased income, or more freedom. But, let’s not underestimate the power of an accountability partner.

To conclude, my personal and professional experience within the coaching and consulting industry have molded me into the missing puzzle piece for business owners, leaders, entrepreneurs, and teams alike. I diminish stagnancy and overwhelm leaving you feeling calm and collected. If you desire clarity, confidence, and connection; let’s work together!
